More about the tour
This is the long-established & most popular overseas tour. My guided motorcycle trip to the High Alps of Savoie has been running once or twice per year now since 2000, and my history of going there with groups dates right back to 1983. The main attraction is to ride some of the most dramatic and highest mountain passes in France, Italy and Switzerland. It’s a two day ride to get there, and the same to get home again, staying in traditional French hotels en-route. We make our base for 7 days in or close to Bourg St Maurice, using self-catering chalets, thereby keeping costs in check, but also enjoying the outdoor Alpine life. AS WITH ALL MY TOURS, please view the photo albums on the Bike Tours UK Group Facebook page if you can. There are lots and lots of photos of each trip, and comments from riders & pillions who’ve been there.
Amazing scenery, fantastic roads (best in the world?), expert local knowledge with fluent French speaking guide (me!). Plus, lots more to do than just biking….. summer skiing or white water rafting for example!
