BY SEA
The established Patras - Igoumenitsa - Corfu - Brindisi line, has already been operating for almost thirty years, uniting Greece to Central Europe and the Scandinavian countries. The last years the line has been enriched with departures from yet more Italian ports, such as Bari, Ancona, Venice and Trieste.
BY ROAD
Car or bike: Biker friends have crossed FYROM (ex Yugoslavia) this summer without a problem. Nevertheless general public still avoids crossing this country yet
Bus: Eurilines (UK)
Train: Rail Europe, Eurotrain
· From London to Athens the trip (with ferry crossing) takes three and a half days
· From London to Thessaloniki (Central Macedonia) through Skopje
