The George and Dragon Hotel. 

Formally, the sister Inn to the Sun which is virtually opposite, both found on cobbled streets in the heart of Dent.

This hotel is a little larger than The Sun, with 10 refurbished en-suite bedrooms.

These are fairly well-appointed, en-suite, double & twin rooms, plus a “bunk-room” which is slightly smaller & more basic, but it’s still en-suite, and contains one two-level bunk bed.

Like The Sun, it offers good food and locally brewed real ales. The George also offers a separate restaurant room for those who'd like to dine in a slightly more formal, comfortable setting. The food's a cut above The Sun, but it's horses for courses.  (not necessarily - April / May 2007 - there are constant changes of management and chefs right now - the food quality can be variable)

Under new management, yet again, (since March '06) but this time, they seem to have taken a reality check on pricing, and are pricing the rooms more competitively again.

Friendly, happy, positive manageress.  My people were happy there on May 06 tours.
