BIKERESS - the magazine for women motorcyclists

A website & a new magazine, catering specifically for women motorcyclists.

I have asked myself many times whether women motorcyclists should be treated any differently from male motorcyclists.  I get women riders on my trips from time to time, and they tend to be treated "as one of the lads".  Not patronised, no special favours - just one of the team.  Is this wrong?  Open to debate.

I'm toying with the idea of offering a special "Yorkshire Dales & Lake District tour" just for women riders.  I'd invite two of my best women customers as additional guides, and see if this is a concept than can be developed further.

Question.

As a female rider, would you rather have a dedicated group of female riders, or would you rather join a mixed group?
