We've got lots of photos of us tazzing around Morocco, or humping over a few steep Alps, or sludged up to the tank in UK peat bogs, but we didn't have many photos of the kind of thing that beginners might wish to see.
This picture is a typical Grade 1 trail - the kind of Green Lane Mark would use for the big road-biased traillies. This one is in Derbyshire.
We went out for a very short ride today, just to capture a few snaps of Mark on his newly acquired Africa Twin, and Hugh on his really new KTM 990 Adventure.
Mark has just bought the 750cc Honda to put him at "some disadvantage". It's unfair for him to use his lithe & light CRM 250 on the UK trails, when guests are following on behind on 200kg monster trailies.
So, off we went on the Notts / Lincs / Leicestershire borders today, myself as pillion behind Mark, in surprising comfort actually, equipped with camera to grab a few "action" snaps. The pictures got mixed up - some are Notts / Lincs, others are the Derbyshire Peak District. If you spot a 1000' sand dune - well, that must be Morocco.
Sorry, you'll have to click the photos to see them clearly; it's an unknown, and long-standing technical glitch. A couple more below. |
