We offer ‘Trail riding’ in Derbyshire for those with little or no off road experience.

A trip tailored specifically at this market, with like-minded individuals wanting to venture out and explore the potential of themselves and their motorcycle.

Set in the beautiful Peak District, you will ‘Trail Ride’ on routes appropriately graded to suit your ability.

With a maximum of 6 in the group, learn the basic techniques to riding ‘Off Road’. Deal with loose surfaces, ruts, muddy lanes, rocky trails, open grassland and ford crossings.

There’s the option to stay in local accommodation in the Peak District, bring your partners, they can enjoy a weekend sight seeing or browsing the local Towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell or Buxton while you are riding, then meet up in the evenings and share your experiences.

Structure:

Saturday

Will be about setting the scene. Coaching on technique and familiarisation of the varied terrain. Emphasis will be on building confidence in your own ability and realising that this is what the motorcycle was designed for.

Sunday

Will be based on a tour around Derbyshire pulling in a variety of lanes and tracks. Building on the previous day it’s all about you really enjoying the Off Road experience.

All this with the knowledge of constant support of 2 guides, who’ll lead the group, provide coaching and a back up recovery plan, should it be required.

NOTE - Bill can't make this one, as he's running the May "Best of Three" tour on the very same weekend unfortunately.

Note also - the picture to illustrate this piece was taken in the Alps, not Derbyshire, but you get the idea...     Catch the bug, and it's the Peak District in May, then the Alps in July.
