FOR SALE - BEFORE OR AFTER RESTORATION
Don't laugh, it's a bit of a classic. A million dispatch riders can't be wrong!
An older bike I purchased for restoration. 750cc motor with just 24,000 miles on the clock, and shaft drive. Should make a good little workhorse. I've put new tyres on, and it needs a new exhaust and several other items. It will never be concours, but will make a steady tourer for someone who wants a no-frills steed to take them round the UK.
(sorry folks - still not finished. Not even started actually. This was a restoration project which hasn't actually got off the ground yet. You bikers understand this don't you?) Still in bits. Many new parts bought for it - but it remains a project.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THIS THING?????
I can't really sell it as it is, unless as a "project". It' basically sound, and all present & correct. I fitted new tyres to it, and just for cosmetic reasons bought a brand new tank and used side panels. Needs an exhaust. Battery might well be dead by now also. Last time I tried, it started and ran well. It's just taking up valuable garage space now. Make me an offer? As it stands it's cost me approx £700 so far. I can spend a lot of time, and some more money on it and get, err.. £750 maximum back for it when it's finished?
Or just accept an offer. Come on, buy it someone. Please.
£599 ono?
