The Sun Inn - Dent, Yorkshire Dales
Set in the picturesque village of Dent, this 16th Century Inn sits at the heart of the village, with its cobbled streets and old cottages.
It only has three bedrooms sleeping up to six guests, so early booking is advised.
It has a cosy bar which offers "no nonsense" pub food, and like the only other pub in the village, real ales are provided by the Dent Brewery.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, but not en-suite.
Double / Twin Room £37
Single occupancy £25
Including full English breakfast.
Phone 015396 25208 to book.
Dent is a great base for hiking, caving, mountain biking and dare I say it, Trail Riding - though if Alun Michael gets his way, that actvity's days may be numbered.
I use the two Inns in Dent for my "Best of Three" Tours, and send my overseas guests here on their motorcycle tours of the UK.
See the link below to learn more about the beers, th ebrewery, the two Inns and Dentdale in general.
