Best of Three Tour

The trip was great. We all think you did an excellent job with the suggested routes and choice of towns and hotels. Other than the hurry up return by motorway on Tuesday, which we would have preferred to avoid, the routes were great. We loved the narrow roads and passes. Great fun! We never got lost or at least it never bothered us when we did. Your directions were very good and with the maps, navigating was easy.

We especially liked Dent and the Old Dungeon Guyll. Spending 2 nights at each of those locations was an excellent idea. That makes the in between day very relaxing. We got some hikes in and an afternoon ride on those days.

All in all, it was a great trip that we would gladly do again.

Both wives found the BMW very comfortable and were far happier on it while Jim and I preferred the FJ, as it is much sportier.

Many thanks for arranging and planning our trip. We certainly would not have had as good a time without your help.

(photo is of Hardknot Pass in the Lake District - and it's not PJW in the shot. They hired a BMW and my FJ1200 for their DIY trip)
