A bit dated now - but these bikes still deliver the goods when you've got some miles to cover.

It's not insanely fast, and the claimed 125bhp is hard to believe, but, nonetheless, there's a surge of smooth, silky power. The performance is not exactly mind-blowing by modern superbike standards. But, it still delivers the goods when there's a fat bastard on board, with his wife, half a dozen suitcases, a week's shopping, rubber rings and wind breaks, a full-size gas barbeque, 3 double beach lilos, 2 bouncy castles and a kitchen sink to boot.
