Adventurous and fun Motorcycle tours in England, the Isle of Man (TT races),  France, Spain, and Thailand.   Mainly road trips, but various off-road or trail tours as well.  Most holidays are escorted, although in many cases I can offer self-guided or "DIY" versions if you prefer.

I offer Adventure Motorcycle Holidays, at the livelier end of the biking spectrum.  These are usually full-on, active tours, with scarcely a moment to catch your breath.  The emphasis is firmly on the quality of the riding, and top destinations, not necessarily creature comforts & the very poshest hotels.  We sometimes use up-market hotels with swimming pools, but not always.  If it's clean and comfortable, and in a great location, that will do for me.  And it saves you a few quid as well.

Motorcycle Tour dates for 2008 now listed to the right. (same places, roughly same dates as 2006 & 2007) are described in detail, trip by trip on the left hand side of this home page.  I'm becoming a creature of habit, and my 2008 tours will follow the same tried & tested pattern as previous years.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

TT Races 2008 - this trip is full. See article to right hand side, or click here

All places gone. Now FULL again.  No space left, unless there are any cancellations (it does happen at the last minute sometimes).

Best of Three Tours appear to be full now.  Alps trip now "full" but could take a couple more.  Picos Tour (September) taking bookings.

The main thrust of my business is to organise DIY, independent, or fully guided motorcycle tours for UK motorcyclists and bikers from overseas.  I can sometimes supply a hire bike if this is required, although from November 2006 I no longer offer my own motorcycles for rent.

Ferry Ticket Booking feature

You can book your own cross channel, or other European ferries directly through this website now.  The prices you can find here are very competitive indeed.  Try out the system, for a no obligation quotation.

I've placed this "DIY" touring information in this new section here

Have a good look around my site - I like to think it's fairly informative and far from "hard sell".

This site is only 50% dedicated to selling you some sort of tour or service, but the rest is pure help, advice and trivial gossip. All for FREE!

Bike Tours UK is one man business (read "small"), running a maximum of only 8 tours per year - as much for my own pleasure as yours. I only take you to places that I know, and enjoy riding to myself.  I don't do boring, flat, straight-road tours.

Please take some time to browse through my site and see what is on offer. I welcome both UK riders and overseas motorcyclists and can't wait to show you some of our beautiful UK National Parks or take you to the ultimate biking experience IMHO - either the French Alps, or Thailand for a total paradigm shift.

If any of your questions remain unanswered after having a good browse around, then send Bill an e-mail at bill@biketours-uk.com or telephone me 00 44 (0)115 846 2993. If you don't get a response fairly quickly to your email, try phoning me. I normally respond pretty quickly, but obviously, it's an occupational hazard that I'm often away from the desk.

There are basically 3 sets of navigation tools on the website - 3 columns left, middle and right. The left takes you to different sections of the site (but you will notice that some sections are broken down further in this left column - please don't miss these bits). The middle section usually covers the main introductory content, and the right column may contain extra articles & photos, giving you more snippets of information or extra background facts about a particular trip. Enjoy your visit, and pop back now and again to see what's changed.   Finally - don't take this website too seriously.  My comments are sometimes flippant, ill-conceived or cynical!
