Camping is flexible and places are normally available throughout the summer. It will save you money but expect a challenge in wet weather. In Nottingham, The Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District, the Isle of Man, and also in the French Alps, campsites can be found close to the hotels we use, so there can be a mix of accommodation, even on the same trip if desired.

Camping's a funny old game. You love it or you hate it.
I think it's great, and the camaraderie you get amongst happy biking campers is unbeatable.
But - dyed-in-the-wool none campers will never share this point of view, so let's beg to differ eh?
