Why book with me?

Good question. If you have not ridden abroad before, you may want someone around to help. I can assure you that it is not difficult at all,  but I'm here to help you get the most out of your trip to France. Here is a brief summary of my affinity with France.

I have been visiting France up to 6 times per year for work or pleasure since my school day French Exchange visits at the age of 15.

I've been taking groups down to Bourg St Maurice and the South coast of France since 1983.
I went out with the British Canoe Team in 1983 and again in 1985 for the World Kayak Championships.

I hold a degree in French, and I qualified as a French teacher in 1985.

I've worked 3 whole tourist seasons on the Cote D'Azur, and one season as a holiday representative in the Dordogne for Haven Leisure.

I have contacts in the town, and can access self-catering apartments which are worth knowing about at any time of year. In the event of a problem, knowing exactly where to go, and who to talk to can be a real advantage.

I ski in France every winter (I may already have been down to Bourg several times over the winter before these bike trips in June and July) and my father in law owns property in the town.

Restauranteurs and hoteliers have become friends over the years, and it feels like I live there sometimes.

Whether you ski or not, it is worth a ride up to Tignes, and a visit to the Grande Motte Glacier.

Why not join us this summer?

Do something different this year. Your bike deserves more than just a Sunday run to Hartside cafe, Matlock Bath, or Boxhill.

I look forward to meeting you in 2007
